Tired of a mundane drive? TEST DRIVE THIS WET NOODLE TODAY!

I've gotta assume the '.' died and that just the trip meter. I just can't imagine someone that drives 84k per year. And if they do, and aren't a trucker, I pity them.

676,000 / 8 = 84500 miles a yr.
so thats just over 7000 a month
if you go with a 5 day work week thats 325 miles a day. even at 60 mph thats 5.4 hrs a day of driving.....
typo?

271 miles per day, every single damn day.

Hah 4 banger with that many miles? Nope.

Honda CR-V, over half a million miles. Almost as cool as the million mile Volvo.

I read that the carfax report backed it up.

Not bad. Its completed a round trip to the moon and in the middle of its second run.

yes it is

If I had to drive a CR-V for 676,000 miles, I think I'd just kill myself. Most likely in a way that totaled out the CR-V too so there was no risk of someone else ending up with it.

Mileage reports are sporadic on the Carfax, but they reported 66k miles roughly one year into ownership so I'd say yes, that's the actual mileage.
I've met some 50k a year drivers but never 80k. That right there takes some dedication.

At my current driving rate my car would hit that amount of miles in roughly 167 years.

Nah - road warrior. Probably some type of sales or onsite service guy that covered a large area.

Nah, not yet.
'97 Ford Econoline cargo van, in 2008. At the time, it was the highest mileage E-250 in the country.

I wonder how many times the CD player and rear diff have been replaced?
Also, lookit all the pretty warning lights that are on!
Dealer probably has $500 in this hunk of shit, and is trying to make a quick buck before sending it to auction.

Looks more like 8.5 years, so per year would be below 80k. Still high, but not as ridiculous. 217 miles per day. In a big metro area or across a state a salesman, regional manager or similar could easily hit that mark. I know one guy who is a regional manager type for Burger King, and he spends all day literally going from store to store and other activities.
What is more impressive to me is the amount of gas and consumables. That's possibly $100,000 of gasoline, who even knows how much in parts.

Can't be right. No way a Honda dealer would waste valueable space with this. Any trades over 100k miles automatically go to wholesale auction.

I'm sad now. I have a lot of catching up to do.

So this person bought their car new in 2006 then promptly drove around in it 24/7 until 2014...?

My Ford Taurus had over 300,000 miles on it when I got rid of it, my moms oooooooooold 77 LTD station wagon had over 725,000 on it when she sold it...and my Mustang had almost 200,000 when it got totalled out. Yes, I am a Ford fan as well. :-)

That Volvo now has over 3 million. :-)
